How to Remove Skin Tags
Although skin tags are safe, many people that are influenced by them discover it difficult to bear with the circumstances especially if they expand in extremely sensitive locations such as the face. Skin tag removal includes no intricate procedures in contrast to mole removal. This page discusses numerous reliable means through which you could eliminate skin tags.
We may not know the correct terminology to use when a small piece of hanging skin forms under our arms, or on the neck, breasts, groin or eyelids. Although these skin growths may vary in appearance; they can be smooth or wrinkled, slightly brown or flesh coloured and be a small size bump or be as large as a grape, the end result is the same: they are annoying.
The medical profession calls them Cutaneous Papilloma or Acrochordons, but they are better known as skin tags. When a skin tag is small we tend to ignore it or live with it, but chances are it will continue to grow and become a cosmetic issue rather than a life-threatening malignant growth. Skin tags appear on nearly half of the population in adulthood, but children may develop them under the arms or on the neck. They seem to occur in areas where there is skin friction and they are common in people who are overweight.
Home remedies that help with skin tags.
Doctors use several medical procedures to remove skin tags. Freezing, burning, scissors and laser treatments are effective, but these procedures can be costly. There are several home remedies available to get rid of skin tags and they may surprise you because they are so simple. Duct tape is one of those items that serve us in a variety of situations and getting rid of skin tags is one of them. Cover the skin tag with duct tape for two or three days and it should start to fall off if not, use a fresh piece of tape and wait another two days.

Some lesser-known treatments that also work.
Fingernail polish works as well. Cover the skin tag with polish about three times a day for two weeks and the skin tag should dry out and fall off. Castor oil, Edgars favourite remedy, is another great way to remove skin tags. Mix a little baking powder with castor oil, so it becomes a paste and applies that blend to the skin tag three times a day until it falls off. There are also herbal remedies that will remove skin tags, but if you want to remove them without spending a lot of money get the duct tape, fingernail polish or the castor oil out and let them work their magic.

Lemon juice is another popular skin tag treatment, and some find it effective due to its acidic properties. Take a cotton ball and soak it in lemon juice, ensuring that the area covering the tag is thoroughly covered. Repeat this application process several times a day until you see results. You may find this is a much speedier solution than either pineapple or onion juice, as a result of the increased potency of the liquid.
Using pineapple juice as a natural skin tag removal solution is even simpler. As with the onion juice, apply pineapple juice several times a day; take care not to rub it off once applied. This allows it to set and really work on breaking down the tag. Alike the onion juice, expect 10-14 day’s worth of application before you see tangible results. At the end of this period, the skin tag may have fallen off, or be easy to scrape off manually.
With cryotherapy, the skin tag is frozen and hence creating the cells inside to die. As a result, the tag will diminish.
Area a small amount of the bloodroot paste on the skin tag then use a band-aid. This procedure is the most efficient and finest way of eliminating skin tags, though you must be cautious due to the fact that bloodroot is understood to be unsafe to the skin.
Among the best herbal treatment for this skin problem and other skin conditions is the comfrey herb. Using comfrey to get rid of skin tags is not only effective but also safe and leaves no side effects. Although it is considered to be safe, pregnant women and children should avoid it.
Garlic bulb not only contains the antifungal, antibiotic and antiviral agents but also plays a major role in removing skin tags. Cover this tag on the skin with a piece of garlic bulb overnight and remove it in the morning. Do this for about three days and the tag will be no more.
Castor oil is one of the famous remedies of getting rid of skin tags on the skin. Simply apply a mix of castor oil and baking soda/bicarbonate of soda on the cleaned skin tag. Repeat this for a few days and the tag will fall off.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Besides getting rid of skin tags, apple cider vinegar is an effective cure for many skin conditions. Use the apple cider vinegar by soaking a piece of cotton wool into it and apply it on the affected area. Carry out this process 3 times a day for a few days until the tag falls off.
